A car rolled its way into the Gotham cemetary and on toward the graves of former Gotham City Police Commissioner Bruce Wayne and his wife, Selina Kyle Wayne (formerly known as the Catwoman).

After the car stopped and the door on the driver’s side opened, a young lawyer named Helena Wayne got out of the car. With two bunches of flowers in hand, she walked over to her parents’ gravesite.

“Hi, Mom,” said Helena, placing the first bunch of roses on Selina’s tombstone. “I hope you like these roses. I’ve just come over for a visit, and to wish Dad a happy Father’s Day.”

Kissing the tips of her fingers and placing them on the tombstone, a saddened Helena said, “Take care, Mom. I love you, and I miss you very much.”

Then, walking over to Bruce’s tombstone, Helena placed a second bunch of roses on the tombstone and said, “Hi, Daddy. I’ve come for a visit.” As a tear fell from her eye, she added, “And to wish you a very happy Father’s Day.”

Kneeling down in front of the tombstone, a teary-eyed Helena looked at the tombstone and said, “I love you both, Dad. And I miss you both very, very much. As a matter of fact, I miss you so much that I might be urged to speed on over Doctor Fate’s tower outside Salem, Massachusetts, and allow him to zap me into the past, in order to…”

Taking a deep breath, she wiped the tears from her eyes with embarrassment and said, “But that only sounds like someone who’s living in a dream world, doesn’t it?”

Sometime later, Helena stood up, dusted herself off, and walked over to the spot in-between the tombstones.

Kissing the tips of her fingers and placing them once again on each of the tombstones, Helena took a deep breath and said, “I’ve got to go, Mom and Dad. The Flash has called an emergency meeting of the JSA.”

Backing two steps away from the graves, a half-smiling Helena said, “I’ll make sure to give Jay your love. Love you both.”

Blowing a kiss to both of the tombstones, Helena got back into her car and drove out of the cemetary.

On the way to the headquarters of the legendary Justice Society, a teary-eyed Helena thought, Love you and miss you both very, very much.
